Support

OCP-IP has made great efforts to minimize the need for support that might be required by the membership, by investing heavily in collateral, training programs, datasheets, an extensive set of FAQ’s, etc. Priority has been given to the quality of all documentation provided to ensure ambiguity is removed whenever possible and that members can be immediately self-sufficient and proficient in their adoption of OCP.

Technical Support: All OCP-IP members have access to our expert technical support team. Questions should be directed to techsupport@ocpip.org for central processing and tracking. Our response times are routinely recorded and reviewed by GSC directors. Our extensive technical support network can address inquiries ranging from specific questions involving the OCP Specification, to general overview questions regarding any of the other tools, products or services offered by OCP-IP.

Japanese Language Tech Support: Continuing to extend and promote the Open Core Protocol as an international standard, OCP-IP has established a Japanese language technical support group. The process for answering Japanese technical support questions may be lengthier when translation is required. OCP-IP will answer technical questions in Japanese, which can be sent to techsupport@ocpip.org.

OCP-IP Library (IP/EDA/Services): As a benefit to OCP-IP members, we encourage everybody to take advantage of this opportunity to promote their OCP-compliant products/services in our popular online libraries. These listings are a great vehicle for free advertising, providing exceptional visibility to a large audience. This service is provided at no charge to our members. Native Language Websites: From the main English language website, OCP-IP has three other native language websites available: Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Each website allows visitors to access the organization's information and materials in their local language; eliminating translation barriers that may hinder adoption of OCP. Each site contains the most relevant and current datasheets, press releases, FAQ’s, etc., along with important OCP-related news.
