System Level

The homepage of the OCP-IP Web site can be reached at www.ocpip.org. Our comprehensive website contains detailed information on System Level work including: information regarding our System Level Design Working Group, SystemC OCP Models, SystemC White Papers, and more.

Working Group: Our System Level Design Working Group (SLD WG) is full of the best and brightest engineers in the world from leading companies developing Transaction Level Models (TLM’s). The SLD WG is focused on creating products and tools that result in better productivity in system level modeling. The group is responsible for ensuring the SystemC OCP Transaction Level Models are compatible with the latest version of SystemC. In addition, this working group is well-known for landmark white paper publications that discuss Transaction Level Modeling. Visitors have downloaded tens of thousands of copies of these papers, together with thousands of copies of working TLM’s, from our website.

For more information on SystemC, please visit www.systemc.org. For information on joining OCP-IP’s System Level Design Working Group please send us an email at admin@ocpip.org.

SystemC TLM’s: SystemC OCP Transaction Level Models are available to OCP-IP Members and the general public. If you belong to a member company, please enter the Members Only site to download the SystemC OCP Transaction Level Models. The models are freely available to non-members for research use; just read the click-through Research License Agreement and provide us with the requisite information. Once completed, you will receive access to the models at no charge.

Working Group: Our MetaData Working Group (MDWG) is comprised of representatives from some of the leading companies in the world.  This group, formed in 2008, is working to capture OCP interfaces using the IP-XACT format.  The MDWG will develop extensions to the format and work with Spirit Consortium member companies to incorporate these extensions into future releases of IP-XACT.

For information on joining the MDWG, please contact us at admin@ocpip.org.

White Papers: Our SystemC White Papers outline the use of the OCP Transaction Level Models in the same flow as the OSCI TLM. They are available at http://www.ocpip.org/socket/whitepapers/. Our OCP Methodology Package has extensive examples for modeling and interoperability at different abstraction levels and can also be found on our website.
