SoC Technology Center/Industrial Technology Research Institute(STC/ITRI)

National Applied Research Laboratories National Chip Implementation Center (CIC)

As IC design moves toward system-level integration, it is necessary to provide a new design methodology and environment to cope with design complexity as well as provide competitive solutions. Based on experiences of the last decade, CIC is moving into a new design era. Looking into the coming future at what the country demands, CIC will put greater effort into developing the system-level design environment. National Tsing Hua University

Tsing Hua University is located in Hsinchu, a city 72 kilometers south of Taipei. PUCRS

PontifÌcia Universidade CatÛlica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) is a Catholic University located in southern Brazil. It counts today around 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students and 2,000 Academic personnel. In its Central Campus is located the biggest Science and Technology Museum and the biggest University hospital in Latin America. The University offers 61 undergraduate, 23 MSc and 13 PhD curricula, besides 41 other graduate degrees. The partnership with OCP was promoted through the Hardware Design Support Research Group (GAPH), located at the Computer Science Graduate Program of the Informatics Faculty. The GAPH group, together with other 7 Brazilian Universities is working on the Brazil-IP project, a collaborative effort of Brazilian institutions to create a distributed network of integrated circuit (IC) design centers capable of delivering OCP-IP compliant intellectual property (IP cores) and a system-level design SoC methodology based on such cores.
