Products Using OCP
Component Portability Infrastructure: Building Waveform Ready SATCOM
Terminals
CPI
Mercury’s Component Portability Infrastructure (CPI), which uses OCP-based
interfaces, is being used to Build Waveform-Ready™ SATCOM
Terminals.
CPI
Benefits
CPI provides a plethora of benefits including: full consistency with SCA's
component model, full interoperability with CORBA, methodology using a
mature, SoC/ASIC-tested approach, minimal latency and footprint for control
and data plan, optimal performance for connections, open and published
specification for waveform interfaces, a Clear separation of control and
data plane, and CPI based on high-performance FPGA Developer’s Kit
(FDK).
FPGA
Interfaces
All FPGA component interfaces are defined using OCP. The interfaces are an
Open standard for how “IP cores” are connected and are Independent of VHDL
vs. Verilog, interface. The interfaces have increasing acceptance by users
and producers of FPGAs, SoC.
